Delete your account

Delete it yourself, in the app

1. Open Babinom and go to Settings.
2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
3. Confirm when asked.

Deletion happens straight away and cannot be undone. You do not need to contact us first.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account removes:

• your account and sign-in details, including your email address and display name;
• your name preferences and settings;
• your full swipe history;
• the matches you were part of;
• your push notification token and notification preferences;
• your analytics profile with our analytics provider;
• your customer record with our purchase provider.

If you share a room with a partner

Babinom rooms are shared between two people, so what happens to the room depends on who created it.

• If you created the room, the room is deleted along with your account. Your partner will no longer have access to it or to the matches in it.
• If you joined a partner’s room, the room stays with them, but your swipes and the matches you were part of are removed from it.

If you only want to leave a room rather than delete your account, contact us and we can help.

What we may keep, and why

• Records of purchases, which we and the app stores are required to keep for tax, accounting and dispute-resolution purposes. These are billing records and are no longer linked to your Babinom profile.
• Aggregated statistics that cannot identify you, such as how often a name is liked overall.
• Copies inside routine encrypted backups, which are overwritten on their normal retention cycle.

Purchases are handled by Apple and Google. Deleting your Babinom account does not cancel a subscription — manage that in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
